This cookbook is outstanding. I have made probably 15 recipes from it now, and they have all been incredible. The positive reviews are for real. This book is worth every penny and will be your new favorite. I don't usually cook from recipes, but I was looking for a cookbook to expand my knowledge of flavors and cooking techniques. This book was exactly what I was looking for. While this book is not sold as a healthy cook book, there are many vegetarian/pescatarian and non-gluten options. I've been having so much fun and grateful that I live near stores that provide the fresh ingredients. Mediterranean recipes - nice.

Niiiice! I have not tried a single recipe that I did not like. I have to admit that I skipped some as I did not like all the ingredients. I use this daily, and have discovered a new and healthier way to eat! I would definitely recommend this cookbood to anyone who likes to cook and try new recipes. Awesome! We love this cook book! Colorful, easy to follow instructions, love the "why this recipe works" piece for each recipe. And Every recipe we have tried so far has been amazing - yes, the recipes take a bit more time to put together, but totally worth it! Book really amaizing! By far, one of the easiest books to read and follow. The beginning of the book starts off with a great explanation/overview of why the Mediterranean diet is a great diet. AND it makes sense. I have rheumatoid arthritis and it has tremendously helped (along with supplements) to keep my pain in check. The cookbook offers pictures for some of the recipes. Each recipe is easy to follow too. I have three young children and it has recipes that are quick and others that are for at home date nights to do together. Overall, an excellent cookbook!! I even bought one for my aunt who also has RA and she loves it!! Highly recommend!!

This book is a great resource filled with recipes for any one from the novice to the expert cook. I love how it is based on her background and childhood experiences, and that she is registered dietitian! Mediterranean diet is a great way for any one to develop a healthy lifestyle which is the key to living a long healthy life. Forget those fad unrealistic diets and try this book- you won't be sorry!

As my wife and I are on a health kick at the moment we have been looking for a cookbook that contains tasty, healthy recipes that are easy to follow and taste great. In this book we think we've found exactly what we've been looking for. The recipes are fantastic and couldn't be easier to cook. The ingredients are easily sourced and they are incredibly tasty. They are healthy and we are already noticing the difference and we have not had the book that long.If i want to eat smth yummy, i always open the book and cook smth by recipe!!!

Very easy to follow! Who knew eating healthy could be so delicious. I am in week 2 of the plan and have enjoyed every meal. The ingredients for the meals are at my local store, and I live in a smaller community. The recipes are easy to follow, and the utensils needed to cook the meals are normal utensils. I highly recommend this book as I feel better, the food is delicious, it is easy to prepare, and simple to find in stores. If a person reads the intro, the recipes, and purchases items on the already prepared shopping list, it is a near painless process to move to healthy/delicious food. Prior to purchasing this book, I did little to no cooking. Reading the recipes and suggestions for preparation prior to cooking has proved to be most effective at facilitating the cooking process even with a novice cook like me. I am losing weight, which is somewhat of a surprise as I feel satisfied (not deprived or starved). Good job!

I had great plans for this book--I teach high school English, so I thought this would be a great visual aid for students as we read various classics. The pictures and print are very tiny, the colors are rather muted, and it's simply difficult to read through the maps. If it were printed on different paper with more vivid colors and a different font, I think this could be really cool.And this is weird, but my copy of the book has a REALLY stiff spine. Most of the maps go across the two pages, and because of the stiff spine, it's almost impossible to really look at the middle part of the maps.So, all in all, great idea; poor execution.

Unfortunately Kindle edition of this book has a bug (at least on iPad). The text pages are overlapped and only half of pictures is available. Somehow it fails to show the right part of the picture (throughout the whole book).

Wonderful fun for the literary set.

First off...need the next book like yesterday!! I love this story. Also love the old movie add on. Brilliant.This could be now. Our planet turning against us. Disaster after disaster. The solution, use a wormhole and find a new planet to send some of humanity. Brilliant idea, right? Ummm, maybe not. That’s all I can say about it.The characters are wonderfully written. Want to smack a few of them, so that tells how well they are written.Grab this, enjoy. Then stalk the author for the next book. J/ K.

I am a fan of post apocalyptic science fiction and have read several of Drugas books. This I read in a single sitting. My only regret is that the secquel is not yet available. It was a fun read.

Another Great read from Jacqueline Drugs and a most promising start to a new series! The world is undergoing violent upheavals, one natural disaster after another. A slim chance, a slim hope exists through a wormhole in space, maybe. Can't wait for the next book!

You can be pretty sure you're getting a good read with any Jacqueline Druga book and this one is no exception. I just wish the rest of the series was available now.

The expectation was one of exploring a new planet and that did not disappoint. The surprise in this story gave me a plethora of thoughts that I previous had not considered. Good job!

This book follows a group of individuals who have suffered great personal losses from the disasters impacting earth - floods, sinkholes, earthquakes and more. We come to find out they have been chosen for their unique skills...and because they have limited links left to earth. In an effort to save humanity, they will be on a search through a wormhole for a new planet to call home. This book is interesting, suspenseful and heart wrenching. As I've come to expect from the author, the characters are described so well I feel I know them all. This is a great read and a keeper!

Always enjoy Druga's books! Characters in this book seem more mature and grounded than her usual characters. I'd love to read a sequel or 3. Without spoiling -Character storylines continued, discoveries, arc. More Backstory. Great read!

Many of our people, unfamiliar with Van Gogh or Irving Stone, were absorbed by the tragic tale of this tormented artist, so vividly portrayed by this excellent writer. Book clubs are wonderful venues for rediscovering older literature, reminding those of us who collect books, that there really is a reason to reread that book on your highest shelf or buy it to add to your collection. Makes you also want to buy a collection of Van Gogh's artwork, as many famous pieces are referenced in the book, whetting your appetite to look at the real thing.

This record plays through, start to finish without ever having to pick up the needle to skip a track. Every song is great. And for Bowie fans, the bulk of the music was written by ‘The Thin White Duke’.

I've always loved the art of Van Gogh but only, after reading this book, do I have any understanding of the man and his art. I want to hop on the next aeroplane back to the Van Gogh Museum and look at his genius with fresh eyes.

I first read this wonderful biography when I was eighteen...I have loved Vincent and his entire body of work to this day.The print in this edition was difficult to read; and I would recommend a better copy for you, dear reader.Recently, I read an alternative account of the death of Vincent van Gogh which has long been assumed a suicide. I'm most ashamed that I did not retain the link...But, the premise was, and is, that Vincent was murdered by the jealous brother of a young student he had taken on as a student. The piece revealed significant facts unknown to me.These included the easel and paints left in the field by Vincent. And, his deathbed INSISTENCE that NO one was responsible for his death, only himself. This. of course, was in keeping with his nature . . . to blame no one for any of his many failures but his own self.I would be most interested in hearing your personal opinion of this theory.
