I highly recommend this book as a great source of a truly unique and informed way to better understand questions of faith in our modern secular world. It explores the Hebrew worldview that informed the writers of scripture as opposed to the Greek worldview that predominantly informs our current lives. It is surprisingly accessible to both academic and non-academic alike. I was introduced to these ideas a few years ago, and due to the paradigm shift it presents, have found my faith deepened and enriched ever since.

I highly recommend this book to anyone who struggles with feeling like the gospel is an impersonal and cold set of data points. Let me assure you, it is most decidedly not.
