I was very disappointed with the lack of lesson material found in this book. These were not very thorough lessons.

It was not what I expected and I am unable to use this item.

I found 50 More Great Object Lessons That Bring The Bible To Life very helpful. Each lesson is easy to follow with clear and concise instructions. Mark, offers a Point, Prep, Props, Process, and Prayer for each lesson. I found that for every lesson I had all the "Props" in my own household items. If there is something you don't have he offers other suggestions of items you can substitute. I also found it helpful to know ahead of time what lessons needed "Prep" before class time so I could be best prepared for my students. It is a great resource for any classroom.

Practical ideas that help bring a dose of creativity to the process of teaching children about the Lord. Great resource for busy church leaders, teachers, and volunteers.

What an Amazing book, Julie, Mark and Virginia did an excellent job on portraying Norbert with his Smiles and love to all he meets. What a lovely Birthday gift Julie for this release date, and I think Parker Rose is definitely a "precious Miracle!"

I can't say enough wonderful things about Norbert and his family! His lessons are right on time and seeing his great pictures brings tears of joy to my eyes every time! Julie has done a super job of training Norbert but his soul was there to bring all that training to life! Her help putting Norbert's lessons into people-words and Mark's photographs have created the biggest little wonder-dog ever! Thanks to you all for sharing the joy every day.

This is a very wonderful book about a little tiny and cute dog named Norbert. He is just adorable!! Norbert is a registered therapy dog who visits children's hospitals, homeless shelters, and others in need of cheer with his owner Julie. There are lots of cute critters, but you little guy are en epitome of life, care and beauty. At 56 you look fantastic - even better than before! You're a unique little star that warmly shines upon the sick little kids who adore you! You're the world's ewok budha and life is better 'cause you're born...Yes... I'm very partial :)

I saw this dog and book on Hallmark Home and Family. After ordering the book and reading it I bought enough to give to my family and friends. Most have made it their "coffee table" book. When things aren't going right or you are feeling down all you have to do it read about Norbert and you will have a smile on your face. My sister is an HR manager and she uses it to cheer up employees who are having a bad day. Best book to have in your life.

I love Julie Steines and little Norbert. She and Norbert go to hospitals to cheer up pediatric patients. Mark Steines, who did the photography for the book, is a fabulous photographer. I hope her earlier books go into publication again because I can't afford the "collectable" versions. Her mom did most, if not all of the artwork for the earlier books.

If I had to chose one medical astrology book, this would be it. Well written, with examples and charts. A good reference book. One of the points I liked particularly in this book, is that it provides a valuable information of the Western astro medicine and throws in the authors expertise in the fields of pharmacy plus herbal medical info and gives a guide for practical diagnostics and therapy tools. The author has done a wonderful job putting information already learned in to this book to what she has learned. I like the that the symptoms can be matched with those of the chart which are activated by the transits, progressions, and eclipses at the time they started. Helpful to give a clear pattern to those who are looking at medical charts to help their clients or for self use. This book is a good tool for the library. Covers looking at Past Medical History, Social, Emotional and Event History, times of significant health related issues, and then helps put these all together for the reader.

A very interesting book that you can dip in and out of again and again. well written for a lay-person to read.

As a trainee astrologer, I have long resisted reading anything about medical astrology in case it scared me too much! This is a great first book to read on the subject and makes you re-think your views on health and ill-health. It is a very readable, comprehensive reference book for someone with some prior knowledge of the basics of astrology, for example the planets, houses and aspects as well as the signs of the zodiac. The reference material is superb and I found that the correspondences between my medical history and the main features of my birth chart were spookily accurate.The author describes the main function of medical astrology as the identification of the underlying astro-dynamic patterns that link mind and body, and the tackling of the inherent issues of which the outer symptoms are a physical manifestation.There is a fascinating section on Decumbiture Charts, a traditional method of diagnosis & therapy based on the time a person takes to their bed with an illness. Also, the book contains much practical guidance on therapy sessions using medical astrology. There is no attempt to replace the medical team but rather to complement them. The author describes how the process works - changing the relationship between ourselves and our more difficult features through awareness and what she describes as an "upgrading" - transforming these into new more positive ways of expression that bring healing.The astrological correspondences of illnesses and remedies including herbs, plus a full bibliography of further reading ensure that this will be a much used reference book.

For me this will become a reference book but first I will have to read it a couple of more times.More importantly this is a book to be read with a sound background in astrology. So my 4 stars review is due to my ignorance of the subject more than the book in its integrity.It is small and concentrated, making reference to other medical astrologers throughout history and the techniques used. There is a lot of detail but alas, these details will only be savoured when my astrology studies will have tremendously improved.
