It is as though God is lifting the veil for this generation. Understanding the Blood Moons and reasons that God created the eclipses, both solar and lunar, in conjunction with God's Festivals or Holidays, reconnecting these events to HIS calendar, His people and why...shows to all of us how our redeemer, our Creator is preparing to redeem the nations back to the plan that caused all of this to happen in the first place. (Whew!) God is showing to us how he is restoring relationships between heaven and earth. Pastor Mark Biltzs' book opens up to the Christian and perhaps strengthens the bridge between Jew and non Jew, restoration. Blood Moons is about relationship, God to men! This book is a book meant for this entire global generation!

The authors enthusiasm for his discoveries and conclusions are extremely contagious, yet it is a glorious affliction, for he has a wonderful easygoing arm around the shoulder writing style that almost instantly draws you into his realm while putting you at ease. Reading his book has brought back distant memories of a long ago teacher, who although I initially had no interest whatsoever in what she was teaching, converted me by her excitement and sheer joy in the subject matter. Although attending Bible college and being a Christian for almost 50 years, I am sad to say that not one person I ever set under ever took the time to teach on the relevance of the Jewish feasts and festivals. And of course before Mark's discoveries no one ever took the time to see a parallel between these celebrations, eclipses, blood moons and super blood moons. Before reading this book I was always somewhat interested but never saw the importance of the Jewish calender, now I plan on purchasing one. In the past I have studied prophecy but never from a Jewish mindset, so reading this book has given me fresh revelation. Although I love my precious Savior, I believe that this book will take that love to a higher level, because to see Yahshua with a greater revelation can only make that passion more intense. In closing I highly recommend this book, for not only does it make you aware of the signs that God has placed in the heavens, but shows you how to read them.

This has started a"feud" between Mark Biltz and John Hagee! There are some important facts to be learned from Dr. Hugh Ross in this movie! The book is good, well presented and easy to read. Dr. Ross contention is that the lunar eclipses are NOT signs from God as the two pastor are trying to promote. They talk about a "sign for Isreael" when NONE of the 4 eclipses occur or are not visible in Israel! They are only visible from the Northern Hemisphere and generally only The United States! Therefore I believe God is sending a message to The United States of America that we better shape up as a nation, or he will "take us out"!! That is my opinon, and I defend to the death my First Amendment right to make sure EVERYBODY knows my opinion.

I was hopefully expectant when purchasing this book but was somewhat disappointed after having read it. While sharing some good information on the Jewish feasts and how he believes they relate to endtimes prophesy, Mark Biltz seemed to have a bias in the writing of this book. First of all, the title is misleading. In a book of eight chapters only one discusses blood moons. Second he seems to have an underlying negative attitude toward christians who don't focus their beliefs around the Jewish heritage. He refuses to use the name Jesus claiming it to be "a totally manufactured name" even though millions of believers pray in that Name every day. Thirdly he suggests that if you attend a pre-trib church, it is likely a "dead, lukewarm church." This is a slap in the face for many U.S. believers.Not to say this is an emphasis in his book, but it certainly detracts from his message.I don't regret buying this book, but one should be aware when doing so.

Richard L. Evans once stated that "We can only know the truth if we are unafraid of it." or words to that effect. Apparently most Christians today are afraid of knowing the truth about the times we are living in. All that the majority can say with regard to the promised return of the Messiah is that "No one knows the day or the hour." Christ himself said that, but in the very same passage (Matthew 24) He gave them the parable of the fig tree, and told then (his apostles) in verse 33 "So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things [the various signs - including blood moons and the darkening of the sun], know that it is near, even at the doors."Elsewhere he chided the Pharisees for knowing the signs of the weather, but not the signs of the times. In other words, He was telling them how foolish they were to not watch for and discern them. So while Christians seem to have heard the fact that we cannot know "the day or the hour," we are specifically admonished by the Lord himself to watch for and know the signs of His coming. This book, like The Harbinger and The Shimetah, by Jonathan Cahn, documents some of the key signs, and places them in the context of our day.While I did not agree with (or understand) everything that Pastor Biltz presented, and felt that his explanations were at times unclear, the overall documentation of the facts, and how they fit in with the holy days established by God himself, sheds critical light on the key signs of the blood moons and solar eclipses. A must-read for all who are not afraid of the truth, along with The Harbinger and The Shimetah, by Jonathan Cahn.Tom Ballantyne - Author of Oh Really, O'Reilly! and Uncommon Sense, Apparently!

I found this book to be rather outdated and not a fun read. I usually enjoy flipping though guidebooks, but this was not laid out in a manner that made it easy or fun. I'm sure there's some very valuable information contained within, but I wasn't willing to hunt it down especially after reading the list of outdated items you should pack.

The author spent 10 years in Montenegro, and it shows. Incredibly detailed, contains references to historical sites that don't appear on downloadable maps or in the Lonely Planet. The text can be dense, but we found it quite helpful.

I used this guide book back when it was the ONLY guide book for Montenegro. It's charming and the advice about the country is spot on.

I was shocked when it ended. Expected other answers. No closure. Great book all the way to the end. Kept my attention just as all her books have done, but I did not like the ending.

A friend of mine has read and enjoyed Patricia’s novels for a long time now not until I read her newest story did I fully understand the reason. In Justice Delayed, we meet a spunky woman named Andi whose sister was murdered many years ago. Even with the age difference Andi was close to her sister and became a journalist due to the last words she heard her sister speak to her.In the past, four women stewardesses lived together and may have become involved in illegally smuggling rough diamonds into the States. While not technically a cold case, the man who is to be executed for murder in a matter of a few days receives a letter stating he didn’t do the deed. Now, his cousin, who is a detective in the cold case unit, must try to find out the real perpetrator or the evidence that proves the man’s guilt. The twist is they are related and Andi knows them as well, having grown up together in the same neighborhood.Both Andi and her brother Brad and detective Will eventually come together to find out the truth about Stephanie even though their friendship is strained by the case. Will has issues with his birth mother and her coming once again into his life uninvited along with trying to keep Andi from further harm as she digs into stories that are dangerous. Add to that the growing feelings Will has towards her and vice versa and the story just keeps getting better and better.I loved how well the author kept me guessing as to who committed what deed and how the various threads of different cases may come together to reveal a completed tapestry of truth. There are familiar issues, addiction, danger, action and adventure all while on the road to uncover the truth that has been buried for over a decade. I hope if you are not familiar with Patricia Bradley’s books that you too will grab a copy and enjoy the mystery and the tension as it builds throughout the story all the way to the conclusion!

Bradley is a good writer, her voice is absent of the worst of writing mistakes that some Christian of the Christian drivel (sorry to my brothers and sisters in Christ) contains. We need better writers represented in this market, not worse.Bradley had a pretty good story idea, nice plot twists. Unfortunately, this book gives you the frustration of a major subplot going unresolved. The very serious issue of prescription drug addiction makes its appearance but is never really resolved. It's far too deep of an issue plaguing this nation and Christians as well, to be just left open-ended. There is a hint at the character just committing to "stop" but nothing mentioned again. I do mean a hint. Addiction to the level this character rapidly (and unrealistically) spiraled to is not resolved as an afterthought of, "oops, guess its' time to stop." Not to mention, the process of the occasional use for pain - to dangerous use was unrealistic and therefore, came across as just plain silly.Not well thought out. I'm not saying it could not happen, but when you put an entire addiction issue that comes upon a person and reaches an absolutely dangerous level in the space of less than a week, it gets silly.Overall, not well developed and a bit frustrating. But this author has some promise, at the right price (under $3) I might try another book of hers to see if she improved.

Justice Delayed is a great start to the Memphis Cold Case series. Stephanie Hollister was murdered eighteen years ago and her convicted murderer is on death row about to be executed in just days away. Jimmy Shelton, Steph's on again/off again boyfriend admitted that he killed Stephanie but later recanted stating he was coerced into admitting his guilt. Jimmy had a problem with drinking and just couldn't remember what happened. Just days before his set execution, Lacey Wilson, an old roommate of Stephanie's has contacted Stephanie's younger sister, Andi, wanting to get together with her to give her answers about the night that Stephanie died. She also sent a letter to Jimmy with news that he did not kill Stephanie and she has proof. Andi is an investigative reporter hoping to make it to a larger market along with her longtime friend and investigative partner, Treece. Lacey never showed to meet with Andi and was later found dead. Andi's brother police investigator Brad and his best friend Will Kincade, new member of the Memphis Police Cold Case division, are on the way to a basketball game when Brad is called to the Wilson home where Lacey is found in her car inside her garage of a possible suicide. But is it? Jimmy is Will's cousin and calls Will to let him know about the letter from Lacey. After Andi is later attacked in her home by someone claiming she has his diamonds and the letter to Jimmy disappears, Lacey's death and other events point to the possibility that all is tied into Stephanie's death. Will asked and gets permission to open Stephanie's murder case back up to look at as a cold case. At the time of Stephanie's death, she, Lacey and a couple of other girls lived in a house owned by the Hollister family. She was killed in a studio outside the main house where she worked pottery. Several of the girls were flight attendants and a few of their guy friends were pilots. Something is going on with the group of friends but no one is talking and time is tight if Jimmy is innocent. There is a large pool of possible suspects and lots of incidents happen to keep the story flowing and action packed. There are a couple of side issues to cause problems. One is that Andi is taking pain meds for an injury to her back and she isn't aware of how much she is taking. Because Jimmy is Will's cousin, this causes friction between Will and Brad and Will and Andi but there is attraction between Andi and Will that they can't deny. This is a great suspense with some romance and faith intertwined in the story and a start to an awesome series that I highly recommend.

Story was good, riveting even. But even though a lot of people cuss in the world, I prefer to not have it in the books I read. If they can't express themselves, express concern,etc., without resorting to coarseness, that's their problem, not mine. Plus, since I think I found this book under Christian Suspense, God was nowhere in sight in the story...only a lot of self-effort and determination. Won't be reading this author's other works.
